Michael is an experienced attorney whose practice is focused on defending DUI cases. He graduated Summa Cum Laude with a B.S. in Criminal Justice Studies and received the Alpha Phi Sigma Award for graduation with the highest grade point average in Criminal Justice Studies from the Marshall-Wythe School of Law at the College of William and Mary in 1990.. Michael is a Life Member of the National Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers, member of the Virginia Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers and the National College for DUI Defense (NCDD).  He has been been recognized by the NCDD for his efforts as a Criminal Defense Attorney dedicated to the defense of citizens accused of Driving Under the Influence (DUI). Michael is a nationally certified breath test operator and is NHTSA trained on field sobriety tests. He attends numerous DUI seminars across the country every year to keep abreast of all the latest innovative ways to defend DUI cases. Michael understands and uses legal, scientific, medical, and technical issues to fight DUI cases.. Michael recently received a certification of training on the new Virginia ECIR II breath testing machine.
