He has been a Certified Public Accountant since 1996 and has over four years of work experience as a senior auditor and tax accountant at a “Big Four” accounting firm. At a hearing in May 31, 2017 to confirm a reorganization plan that Mr. Gardner helped draft and for which he represented the debtor (In re Advanced Biomedical, Inc., Case Number 8:14-bk-15938-MW), Bankruptcy Judge Mark Wallace stated that “the attorneys did a great job”, a “terrific job”, a “great result” to confirm this plan after two and half years of work to improve the financial performance of the debtor and to sell it to an investor as a going concern for several million dollars. Judge Wallace was “really worried” that this bankruptcy case was “going to go down in flames”. Instead Mr. Gardner and the debtor were able to produce a “tremendous turnaround”, which Judge Wallace said should be a “poster child Chapter 11 case in terms of its outcome.”.
