Good people make mistakes.  Some mistakes involve the law, and that's where I step in.  I am committed to helping those who need legal defense in all circumstances and that's why I've been exclusively representing those charged with criminal offenses since the day I left law school.  As a Board Certified Criminal Trial Lawyer in Florida (a distinction held by only 1% of all Florida attorneys), I represent cases throughout the State of Florida, primarily throughout the Tampa Bay area, Central and south Florida.. I enjoy speaking at state and national conferences in order to teach and learn from other criminal attorneys.  While serving as Editor of "Defending a Capital Case in Florida" for 10 years, my experience and understanding of criminal case law has allowed me to best serve my clients throughout the State of Florida.  I have taught Certified Legal Education seminars at state conferences regarding criminal defense law, jury selection, and death penalty litigation.. I've been  married to my college sweetheart for 29 years and we have four children in high school and college.  In my spare time, I enjoy golf, playing trumpet, and traveling with my family. I grew up in upstate New York and Cape Coral, Florida and prefer the sun over the snow!.
