Tonya brings tenacity, diligence, and a fire to represent her clients in the way she would want to be represented by an attorney. After witnessing family and friends struggle to understand and cope with the maze of the legal system, Tonya decided to make a change and further her education towards law school. She attended Kaplan University and graduated summa cum laude with a B.S. in Criminal Justice. After completing her undergrad, she earned her J.D. from Birmingham School of Law, while working full time. During her time at BSL, she was an active member of the Judge Hugh Locke Honor Society and participated in multiple community enriching projects, such as the Walk to End Alzheimer’s and American Diabetes Association Tour de Cure.. Outside the office and courtroom, you will find Tonya enjoying a motorcycle ride with her husband or just sipping a cup of coffee on her porch with her daughter. Being outdoors and active is what motivates her to push to be her best. Tonya’s biggest cheerleaders are her retired Greyhound, Cupcake, and her grandog, an Italian Greyhound named Sherlock.
