David A. Goldsmith began his career as a lawyer in 2004 working for a boutique defense firm specializing in breach of warranty and product liability litigation. Much of this early experience was devoted to defending major automobile manufacturers in lemon law cases.. In 2009, one of his firm's clients, Bentley Motors, Inc., hired David to manage its Consumer Affairs for the Americas region, which included United States, Canada, Mexico, South America and the Caribbean. In his initial role at Bentley, David set consumer policy and procedure, advised on federal and state regulation, trained dealership and internal personnel, drafted warranty manuals, and directed customer service involving product claims. He also directed internal personnel in pre-litigation, and outside counsel in litigation of consumer claims, including lemon law cases.. David's role at Bentley later expanded to include aspects of product marketing, communications, customer relationship management systems, Product Placement, management of VIP affairs for the Americas region, and fleet sales initiatives. The prevalence of consumer product and emissions regulations meant that David gained a higher level understanding of how automobile manufacturers relate with consumers, dealerships and the federal government regarding products after they enter the stream of commerce. This included management of critical concerns, including product liability and lemon law claims.. Today, David utilizes his previous background and the relationships he has formed as both a defense lawyer, and In-House Consumer Affairs Manager to achieve efficient resolutions for Consumers who have problems with products.
