Rod has been a practising business lawyer for 4 decades, and has represented dozens of clients in the purchase and sale of a business.  Related to his business practice, he also helps clients with solutions to a variety of real estate matters, and does collections work (and other dispute resolution)  relating to both business and real estate subject matters.. After graduating from University of Chicago Law School, he worked at the largest law firm in Michigan, representing public and private business clients on a range of matters, with a particular focus on corporate organization and finance and the purchase and sale of businesses. His work with that law firm led to positions as General Counsel to a couple of publicly-traded companies that needed his expertise and skills in business organizations, the purchase of businesses, and corporate finance.. He subsequently opened his own private practice (first in Michigan, and then in Arizona since 1998), and continued to represent business clients both large and small on a broad range of matters, including the purchase and sale of businesses, real estate purchases and sales, corporate organization and finance, and collections and dispute resolution..
