Luis Monroy is a Colorado native and has a Juris Doctorate from the University of Denver Sturm College of Law.  He earned his Bachelor of Arts in Sociology and minored in history at the University of Colorado at Boulder.  While in undergraduate school, he volunteered with the Student Worker Alliance Program where he taught English and life skills to migrant workers who were employed through the University..
