Location: Tennessee Thanksgiving of 2019. Southeast Michigan. Blew a .09 and got charged with my third DUI. The police said if I didn't submit to all their tests something was going to happen so I blew in this bigger machine at the station. They said since it's my third one that becomes a felony. I didn't want to become a felon so I just didn't go to court. Then I got scared so I tried to turn myself in but they said I went to the wrong place. So I just left and went to another state. Eventually got clean I'm 3 years sober with regular urine tests to prove it. I'm renting a place in a different state and I have a job and I want to take care of this. If I show up and they throw me in jail then there goes my job and I'll be homeless again so how should I go about this?

Long story, so im gonna try and do it by sort of bulletpoints to the best of my ability. If I miss anything, I will add it in the comments This has been from December 2025 to current day Location: Michigan • 20, working as welder at small town shop, had me using large hand grinder for over week 10+ hr days and developed severe carpal tunnel in right hand, moderate in left, officially seen in early December. • Continued getting worse and was extremely painful, couldn't brush teeth, drive or get dressed. Continued working and complained to company, but nothing was done in the end. Filed for workers comp to cover all appointments. • Vacation April 30th to end of May, hoping break from work and carpal tunnel shot would help, returned and still in excruciating pain. • Following up with doctors, getting EMGS done and surgeon basically wanted me in asap because it's very hindering. • First surgery date doesn't get approved in time by workers comp. I tell my job I cannot work while waiting for this surgery. I started filing for disability and wait for August 6th my next surgery date. •Working with our company's new HR lady to file for disability since I will be out of work for a month before surgery and 6 weeks after. Fast forward to now, •company fired HR lady without telling me •Haven't heard a word from workers comp (expected too) •Haven't been approved for disability this whole time…

Location: Michigan My father passed about two months ago, and I have so far been navigating the probate process by myself. I am the personal representative/executor of the estate and am up to the point where I need to submit the personal inventory. The problem that I’ve run into is that my father’s dad passed away about a year ago, and my father never moved the funds from his estate bank account. The probate case is closed, my father is the sole beneficiary (as written in my grandfather’s will), but the estate bank account is still open and in my father’s name as the executor. My questions are: Do I include my grandfather’s estate bank account on my father’s personal inventory for his probate process? As far as I can tell, I have to petition the court where my grandfather died to temporarily reopen his probate case, get letters of authority for his estate, then I can take my documents to the bank and transfer the funds from my grandfather’s estate account into my father’s estate account. Is that correct? The account has less than $50k in it, so it seems it would be eligible for the small estate process. TIA for any help.

For context, I work in an accounting department at a medium sized construction company. We are leaning into AI and I am being asked to try to create/manage some tools that the company will use. Location: Michigan So I was a purchase service employee at a company earlier this year when the company I was contracted to offered me a full time direct hire position. I sent a message to my boss at the contract company in mid-April stating that I had received a job offer from another company and would be pursuing it and my LWD would be 5/8. I also asked if there was anything else I needed to do to formalize this. I never got a response. On 5/8 I gave my boss at the company I was contracted to my laptop and on the following Monday I started as a direct hire. Then mid-May, I got another paycheck for my normal pay from the contract company. I didn't think anything of it since I was expecting about 2 weeks of pay for my final paycheck. Then at the beginning of June, I received another check for my standard pay. I reached out to my old boss and he told me I needed to log on to their system and submit a resignation there. I tried to do that but couldn't backdate it to 5/8, so I was told to just put it as that day (6/3). I did that and they withdrew one paycheck from my bank account.
