While in law school, Erica cultivated and enhanced her courtroom advocacy skills in preparation of becoming a zealous advocate for her clients. She participated and excelled in several advocacy competitions including the Phi Alpha Delta National Trial Competition, the Texas Young Lawyers Association National Trial Competition, the Carrigan Cup Intramural Trial Competition, and moot court. Erica received numerous honors, awards, and scholarships recognizing her exceptional advocacy abilities, including attaining the highest grade in her criminal advocacy course.
