I am a Seattle attorney who represents people who are underoing financial disfficulties. I know how to fight thetough battles. Unlike other firms, my firm does not just rubber-stamp form petitionsthrough to the Court. Unlike the big firms with theirbrand-new bankruptcy departments staffed with inexperienced attorneys, I haveyears of experience finding the kind of innovative solutions that otherattorneys often miss—and we always treat our clients like people, notjust names and numbers. I also take legal action when violations of the Fair Credit Reporting Act have occurred by Credit Bureaus and represent consumer and small business debtors in Chapter 7, 13 and 11 bankruptcy cases. When a debt negotiation plan works better, we work those out too.. A graduate of Boston College Law School, prior to Seattle Debt Law, LLC, I represented consumer and small business debtors at Crocker Kuno Ostrovsky, PLLC and residential mortgage lenders at Routh Crabtree Olsen, P.S. in bankruptcy cases throughout Washington State. She formerly served as law clerk to the Honorable Whitney Rimel, Bankruptcy Judge for the Eastern District of California.. I am a member of the National Association of Consumer Bankruptcy Attorneys.. I am fluent in Mandarin Chinese

In addition to my workers' compensation law practice, I am a single mother of two boys - now men -- and I enjoy playing classical piano.. I was a piano performance major when I began college and switched to a pre-law major after discovering I wanted to make a meaningful contribution to the world through working as an attorney. It was at that point, I completely stopped playing the piano.. Twenty-seven years later, I started practicing the piano again and even took up piano lessons again with the intent of competing in International Amateur Piano Competitions. I was a winner in the Seattle International Piano Competition in 2010 and had the opportunity to perform in Benaroya Hall. In 2011, I was a quarter-finalist (top 15 out of 100) in the Paris International Piano Competition. My next competition is again in Paris scheduled in March 2015. My favorite piece (at this time) is Chopin's 4th Ballade in f minor. Some days I can play it better than others.
