I grew up in Portland, Oregon. I graduated from Woodrow Wilson High School and Portland State University. I left the Northwest to continue my education at Texas Tech University. There I obtained both a Master of Business Administration ("MBA") and a Juris Doctorate (Law) degrees. After graduating I returned to Portland, Oregon. In 1999 I was admitted to the Oregon state bar and in 1996, I was admitted to the Washington state bar. For almost 18 years my practice has focused on representing Oregon wage claimants against their current or former employers and individuals against harassing debt collectors. I have represented my clients both in an individual capacity and as large groups in multi-million dollar class action cases. As a result of my litigation efforts, thousands were able to recover money damages, wages, penalty wages, costs, and attorney fees for prosecuting their claims. Mr. Jacobs received his J.D. from Seattle University in 1979. He is
licensed to practice law in all Washington and Oregon State and federal
courts. Before creating the NW Injury Law Center, Mr. Jacobs was a
partner in a law firm for over twenty years that emphasized personal
injury law. He is an active member of the Washington, Oregon and
American Trial Lawyers Associations. He is a frequent lecturer on legal
issues for both the Oregon and Washington associations. Mr. Jacobs
